Ugly Truth

"It's been a week since we moved to this city... but you don't seem to msg or call anyone. Don't you miss anyone?"

"Nah.. I am more of a private person. Also I am kind of used to staying away from my family and friends. So neither do I feel lonely nor miss anyone" she said smiling.

"Lucky you.. I miss my family like hell. And my friends too.."

She just smiled as a reply.

Did she tell the truth? Doesn't she really miss anyone? Of course she does. But she has been asking herself something else for a long time... Does anyone miss her? Do people close to her realize her absence and regret it? She is not sure of it.

For the same reason, she refuses to accept that she misses her close ones.

I wish I was a MAN/DAD!

I have always wanted to be a boy/man. I mean, it's a thought or desire that I have always had since my teen to be born in a different gender because of all the benefits the other gender gets. Physically and emotionally I am a woman, but dreamt or desired to be a man for its benefits. Some might ask what benefit? Well, let me give example from my current situation. I am a mom. It was second week in a row. Abhi was going through a new developmental milestone – walking. Though this was super exciting for Meera, she was not able to enjoy it completely since new milestone leads to behavioral regression, which in Abhi’s case was always sleep regression. Abhi has not slept through the night for two weeks now and Meera is almost on the verge of her meltdown.
